That’s right, I’m bringing back one of the features missing from my old blog extension – the image of the day.

I’m going about it differently under Word Press than I did under my old MediaWiki extension – I don’t want one attached to every post, since I no longer expect exactly one post per day. I’m also establishing a new category for them, so that they can be manually sorted through. That all said, it’s time for this wonderful tradition to come back. Actually, I’m thinking about stepping it up to two images a day – noon and midnight. Now that I have decent forward posting capabilities, that’s not nearly such a hassle as it would have been.

So, for now, I’m gonna try two per day. No promises that it’ll keep, but it’s worth a shot, right?

We’ll start today off by an hour and a half, but from here on in, when the clock strikes twelve – either twelve, and if you’re military, also zero – it’s time to look to Uncle Fatty for your new image needs. Got a blog, a forum or a site which needs surrogate funny? I’m here for you.
